I hope this helps those of you who are mourning. I urge you to LET PEOPLE KNOW what you're going through, so people can support you. Put your offending senses away and know that anything people say to you (unless they're obviously intentionally being mean) is out of love and a desire to offer comfort and/or help. Show grace. No one knows what to say. It's awkward. Nothing anyone can say will make it better, so see their heart and you'll be blessed by the love and compassion there.

I lost my husband suddenly in a car accident. As part of my self-therapy, I recorded what I went through, almost on a daily basis. I hope that my sharing this will be a help and comfort to others, especially women who have suddenly lost their husbands. Our loss, our grief, the way people bless us will not be the same, but I think it would help to be able to hear from someone else who has experienced something like what you're going through. I think this may also prove to be a source of encouragement to those who are alongside someone who's suffering grief.
Here's the song Angel Armies by Chris Tomlin, which I mentioned. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qOkImV2cJDg&list=PL-qJGkcLR7n5AlKUQ_CKyECmWmK5WVzPv&index=9

Wait 'til the end to see what's so special about the orange I'm having with this meal. So cool!
I'm a fairly new convert (about a year) so I'm sharing what I've learned about things that I had questions about a couple years ago.
This ended up being 4 meals (yum!) ... and then I gave the leftovers to my dog. I normally put a big layer of torn up spinach on top of the mushroom layer. I was just too busy talking and forgot. I put everything into the casserole dish then pour in the eggs. The eggs just seep into all the nooks and crannies. It ends up being so yummy! You can use whatever veggies you want. I like to also include cherry tomatoes (whole) and even whole cloves of garlic. If it's not for a Friday, I might have a layer of ham or some crumbled bacon. I also prefer to use cheddar, but all I had was Swiss, and Swiss is actually quite nice with eggs. I don't eat bread any more, but you can tear up bread (especially leftover french bread or garlic bread) and put it in as a layer. If you do that, let the eggs soak in for about 10 minutes before you bake it. Bake at 350 degrees for about 35-50 mins, depending on the size of the dish, especially how deep you make your casserole. (I used my air fryer at 330 degrees.) To test for doneness, just insert a knife and make sure it comes up dry.

Anything I share in here is simply what I'm doing. If you have any questions about Catholicism, let me know. I'd love to research them and do a video about it. It helps me learn more, which I really enjoy.

If you use my Amazon link, I might get a small referral fee. It doesn't cost you anything extra, but the little amounts add up for me and really help keep me "off the street and out of trouble." Same thing with the Misfits Market link which will give you and me both a benefit. Thanks for your support.

When a business model leads with sustainability and sharing mentality, it thrives and grows on its own. Sharing profits with consumers and rebates promotes savings and easy access to digital investment. It provides access to capital for a member of a Company and member of the ecosystem to help build revenue to share with the investor and consumer. Not an ego-system.... an Eco-System!
