Bill tells how the Cambodian community at Chester River Knitting Company (Patterncraft) grew. ChesterRiverKnitting.com As many of you know, my late husband, Bill Ruckelshaus, knitted sweaters on vintage hand-operated knitting machines for over 40 years. His sweaters were sought by people all over the world who appreciated his quality and the longevity of his sweaters. He used natural fibers such as wool, cotton, linen, camel hair, alpaca, and silk, as well as many others. He knit classic styles which would be appropriate for years and could be made trendy with accessories. Tragically, he was killed in an accident on his way to Maryland on July 14, 2019. I've created a Facebook group in which you can learn about his sweaters, the art which may possibly have gone to his grave with him, more about this wonderful man (I'm not at all biased), and have the opportunity to purchase some of his sweaters, if you'd like. In this group, I'll not only let you know as I get sweaters listed on Etsy little by little, but I'll have special sales, auctions, and other activities to help sell his sweaters as required for his estate. I had memorized the book of Philippians a few years before that. I remember standing there, in the prison, where St Paul had been, and quietly reciting portions of it, weeping because it took on a totally new meaning, seeing the conditions in which he was writing, and how it influenced his choice of words. If I remember right, that's what I journaled about for days, it had such a profound effect on me. Even more than the colosseum.

This continues to be an ongoing struggle for me. I want to be honest about that. Dealing with worry/anxiety the ways that I suggest do not suddenly cure you of it. But I've seen increasing improvement and I just keep practicing these things. If there's interest, I've thought about doing on online retreat about this, following up with quarterly times "together" (online). Let me know if that's something you think would be helpful.

In this video Gabor Mate tells us how we all have this sense of betraying ourselves when we are not truly who we are , we know if we are being ourselves or not. Some people have this voice or feeling inside that they are betraying them selves. Thats why the body also speaks to us when we are not being authentic. The body whispers , talks and then screams for you to stop. The "blocks" we have on our way are the most loving part of ourselves telling us that is not the way, this makes us return to our true selves.
