More details are being revealed about how foreign migrant workers are being mistreated on farms across Canada. The news has become a national story after Jamaican farm workers penned a letter exposing the harsh and inhumane treatment they have to endure on certain farms. Today, Brandon speaks with the head of Migrant Workers Alliance for Change, an organization that has been documenting this situation, and explains who needs to be held accountable and how Canadians can advocate for change.

We're into our second day in our new series -- a Bible overview, using the right and left sides of our brain. Yes, we're coloring (using the right side of our brains) while we talk about (using the left side of our brains) the Bible story, how it relates to other parts of Scripture, and how it relates to our lives and our world. The Bible stories are important for us so that we can understand the rest of the Bible and know how to live our lives for Christ. I had Alexa's help keeping this shorter. Tell me what you think about doing it this way. (Be careful not to hurt Alexa's feelings, please.)

1) Find at least one other passage in Scripture that relates in some way to Genesis 2. Feel free to Google, use a concordance, a cross reference Bible, or anything else. You can even ask someone for help.

How and why Chester River Knitting Company became involved with the Cambodian community. This is part two in a series of the history of Chester River Knitting Company. As many of you know, my late husband, Bill Ruckelshaus, knitted sweaters on vintage hand-operated knitting machines for over 40 years. His sweaters were sought by people all over the world who appreciated his quality and the longevity of his sweaters. He used natural fibers such as wool, cotton, linen, camel hair, alpaca, and silk, as well as many others. He knit classic styles which would be appropriate for years and could be made trendy with accessories. Tragically, he was killed in an accident on his way to Maryland on July 14, 2019. I've created a Facebook group in which you can learn about his sweaters, the art which may possibly have gone to his grave with him, more about this wonderful man (I'm not at all biased), and have the opportunity to purchase some of his sweaters, if you'd like.
