Summer may be winding down, but your garden is NOT done for. Fall gardening is one of my favorite times of year. I love the fall vegetables, and choosing what to plant for fall is an inherently satisfying experience for me.

But...knowing when to plant a fall garden can prove challenging because of the looming frost date. In this video, I will walk you through a formula I use to perfectly calculate my planting so I get everything out of the ground before winter arrives.

We have just enough time left in our growing season to pull off another crop of potatoes, and if all goes right, we'll have twice what we got in our last dig!
Our layers are nice and fluffy and will slowly pack down as it rains, and as the potatoes grow, we will add more straw and potting soil to the top.

Potatoes are one of the easiest and cheapest vegetable you can grow. I've had great success over the years growing all of mine (including main crop) in 20L pots. In this video you'll hear all about my reasons and benefits for growing spuds in tubs, my tips on how to get the biggest harvest and see my planting tutorial step by step! I'll also tell you all about the varieties I have chosen to grow in 2021 (spoiler alert, it's quite similar to 2020 - stick to what works well for you!)
