Please know that everyone's grief journey is different. I'm going to share from my own personal experience, and I hope that this will give you some ideas that will allow you to feel more comfortable in being a support.I gave the wrong date for our marriage -- not February 14 ... It was December 14. I'm just not thinking clearly right now.

More of what I'm feeling and receiving. Seeing the Body of Christ at work. Wondering at how amazingly loving humans can be.
And please understand that I do "get" it that some people don't like to have Scripture spouted at them when someone dies, especially if you're angry at God. But I also want to take away some of the fear of sharing that. It may be trite to some people ... and other people absolutely need it. If you're unsure, you can always ask, "Would it be helpful for you if I shared some Scripture with you?"

We recorded these videos two years after we first met online, after we'd been married for more than a year. I'm uploading them to my channel, unfortunately, after Bill was killed in a car accident. We previously had them spread across three channels, but I wanted my readers and viewers to have access to them. Besides, it makes me happy to watch them.In a lot of these videos, we don't look happy. It's because we were SUPER nervous. :-) Neither of us had ever done anything like this before.
